Shelby GT500KR

1. Will this vehicle be offered in addition to the Ford Shelby GT500?
A) Yes, both vehicles will be available at the same time.

2. Will every Ford dealer receive one?
A) No, production is limited to approximately 1,000 units and we have more dealers than that. Allocation will be handled through a lottery, the same way it was handled in the past with special vehicles.

3. How will you keep the dealers from charging a premium?
A) We encourage our dealers to follow MSRP guidelines, but Ford dealers are independent businesses. While we do not endorse or encourage it, we cannot control it.

Shelby GT

1. When and where can I purchase a Shelby GT?
A) The Shelby GT will be available at Ford dealerships starting in the first quarter of 2007. Dealerships should have or be receiving information between now and the end of this year.

2. What is the pricing for the Shelby GT going to be?
A) The MSRP for the Shelby GT is currently $35,995.

3. How long will the Shelby GT be produced and available?
A) Approximately 6000 will be produced between January and June of 2007.

4. What colors will be available for the Shelby GT?
A) They will be available in black or white with grey stripes.

5. Can I get a Shelby GT convertible?
A) At this time the Shelby GT will only be available as a coupe.

6. Is it possible to get a Shelby GT without the striping?
A) Grey vinyl stripes come with the package. We currently do not have a delete option for the stripes.

7. Where can I find an option list for the Shelby GT?
A) Currently the Shelby GT will be offered as a package available only in its entirety. For more information see http://www.shelbyautos.com/ShelbyGT.asp.

8. Will a supercharged Shelby GT be available?
A) Yes, it will be available in early 2007 once calibration is finalized. You must own the car first then we can add the supercharger.

9. What differentiates the Shelby GT from the regular Ford Mustang GT?
A) Contributions from Shelby Autos and Ford Racing. See http://www.shelbyautos.com/ShelbyGT.asp.

10. Will the Shelby GT be a registered Shelby?
A) Yes, the Shelby GT will be a registered Shelby with a CSM number.

11. Will the Shelby GT have a warranty through Shelby?
A) Yes, 3 year/36,000 miles and there will be an 800 number you can call to handle warranty issues.

Shelby GT 500 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Package

1. What will the pricing be for the GT 500 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Package?
A) The GT 500 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Package convertible will be $12,499 and the coupe will be $11,250 and both will be available for production starting on March 7, 2007. If your name and contact information was put on the waiting list you will be contacted personally.

2. When is the scheduled start date for the GT 500 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Package?
A) The first quarter of next year (2007.)

3. Once the Shelby facility receives a GT 500 how long before it is a complete 40th Anniversary Limited Edition?
A) The process is currently in initial stages but we are estimating two to three days. . However each customer will be individually scheduled.

4. Can I purchase my GT 500 from Shelby Autos or must I go through Ford?
A) The car must be purchased from your Ford dealer prior to getting the 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Package.

5. Are individual aspects of the package available for purchase?

6. Can Ford or Shelby Autos arrange for the transportation of my GT 500 to or from the Shelby Modification Center?
A) No, the car owner is responsible for the transportation of the car to and from the Shelby Modification Center. 

7. Can I have badging shipped to me for self installation?
A) All badging must be done as part of the 40th Anniversary Limited Edition package at the Shelby Modification Center. There is a set that you can buy just without the CSM number and is available in our online parts store at http://www.shelbyautos.com/mustangparts2.asp.

8. Is a GT 500 tool box included in the package or can it be added to the package?

9. Will there be a wheel option for the GT 500 40th Anniversary Edition Package?
A) The option is to which Shelby wheel you would like and what color.

Shelby GT-H

1. When and where can I purchase a Shelby GT-H?
A) Currently the Shelby GT-H is being auctioned off by Hertz at Ford dealer auctions. Once they purchase them they will be offered for sale to the public.

2. What is the selling price for the Shelby GT-H?
A) The Shelby GT-H is being sold at market price as a pre-owned vehicle.

3. Is a convertible Shelby GT-H available?
A) Currently the Shelby GT-H is only available as a coupe. We may offer a convertible in the future.

4. is the Shelby GT-H a registered Shelby?
A) Yes, the Shelby GT-H is a registered Shelby with a serial number and will be included in the national registry.

5. Is the Shelby GT-H warrantied through Shelby?
A) Cars will be sold as is with no warranty.
